NEWSLETTER,

2024 SURVEY AND REPORT

SEPTEMBER 2023

Dear SPGC Community, Friends & Family Business Enthusiasts,

As the first chills of autumn approach, it’s a pleasure to connect with you all once
again through our latest edition of the STEP Project Global Consortium Newsletter.
Each moment we spend working together in our community unfolds stories of
dedication, innovation, around family business themes. This month we are reaching
out with an invitation – an opportunity to further enrich our collective understanding
of family businesses.

The SPGC and KPMG Private Enterprise Global Family Business Survey has
been launched. I’d kindly ask each one of you to share this survey with family
business leaders from all over the world to gather their insights. Your contribution will
play a pivotal role in shaping actionable strategies that fortify family businesses for
the vibrant generations to come.

In this newsletter, we have also exciting updates, events, and insights that promise
to keep you informed and inspired. From the upcoming Conversation Series and
the 2024 SPGC Global Family Business Summit scheduled to be held on May 15-
17, in the captivating charm of the Amalfi Coast, to remarkable contributions from our
affiliates, this issue is the proof of the relentless drive and dynamism of our
community.

Before you delve into these pages, I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all
SPGC Affiliates for being the pillars of this community. Their commitment, passion,
and vision make all the difference.
Together, let’s continue to build, innovate, and elevate the world of family
businesses.

Warm Regards,
Andrea Calabrò
(SPGC Global Academic Director)
